"The worse nightmare of the Prodigy fans in Bulgaria has become true!
The band has postponed their gig only 30 hours before it was due to begin - 8.00pm today!
The reason is the war in Kosovo and Yugoslavia, which is situated on the west side of the country. Yesterday a F-16 has bombed a house in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria by mistake.
As you may not know, Bulgaria is a candidate to be a future member of NATO and this incident was treated as...

THE READING INCIDENT |
-The Prodigy and Beastie Boys were involved in a war of words at the 1998 Reading Festival. The Beastie Boys asked the Prodigy not to include Smack My Bitch Up in their set, claiming that it is offensive – but the Prodigy did play the song and Maxim shouted to the crowd: ”I do what the fuck I want.” Later the Beasties’ Ad Rock commented, ”From where I’m from, it isn’t cool.”.

WHY LEEROY LEFT THE PRODIGY |
"LEEROY THORNHILL has told Music365 that he left the Prodigy last month because he could no longer ignore the solo material he had been working on for the last few years.
And he says he's planning collaborations with Terry Hall, Finley Quaye and US rapper Eminem on his solo album, which he hopes to have out next year.

MOUSE 'RAVE CONCERT' EXPERIMENT |
November 3, 2001 - An animal rights group has condemned an experiment in which mice were given drugs and forced to listen to rave music.
Many mice suffered seizures after being injected with methamphetamine, or speed, and subjected to music by The Prodigy.

Prodigy have not commented on their decision to withhold permission for a sample to be used on the BBC-sponsored children’s charity record It’s Only Rock And Roll.
