There is another case of a promo being sold on Ebay, and you didn't seem to have caught him, and the seller. I see what you mean by the band's whishes, but what are you going to do if that one person owning the promo leaks it on let's say, a public library? Will you close the library down and make fingerprints, watch camerarecordings? Just curious what will happen with that particular promo once it leaks... I'm not saying it will, but just imagine this scenario.

The individual concerned was struck-off the mailing list and, had his / her (watermarked) copy been responsible for the leak then, "Yes", legal action would have followed - although, fortunately for everyone concerned, this didn't prove to be neccessary.

I was not really aiming at what you do exactly to get to the leaker but I was more interested in what the consequences are for such a crime. I know the person who has the promo (second hand owner), but he/she isn't the rightful owner. Now I know there's ways to get to that person AFTER it leaks, but lets say the owner of the Promo is very smart and capable, and doesn't leak it, just on an instant messenger to some select friends only. Will you still try to find him? Can you even find him or her? Again, just curious.

Should be custard donuts, those are niiiiice when put in the micrwave for 10 secs to heat the custard

Thanks (genuinely) for your post ... .. fyi, there may well be further, official preview material around-the-corner and, fyi, we're always in favour of fans and bloggers being given as much material pre-relesase as possible / as feasible (ie. so they can enjoy new album material but without ruining the marketing plans or completely taking-away the 'thunder' of a proper release).

It's a bit odd it being removed actually.

Liam mentioned this footage (not by name, but it was obvious) in a magazine published this month in the UK (either Front or Loaded, can't remember which) saying it had 400,000 hits and that "you can't buy marketing like that".

So they like the free marketing, but they don't like the free marketing being published on YouTube?

I don't get though how that removed footage was different to the ones I posted (i.e. Omen: http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eMkCt6MWJlk) (apart from yes, the quality being a bit shit....)

Don't take this as an attack Web Sheriff - I'm not complaining because you did let me keep my IMD tour concert footage on YouTube!
